2 R9 270X

Go to solution Solved by mapegl,

http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=1346

;-) German though!

You can look at performance though when scrolling down and clicking on the games you liike.

Whole system only draws around 325 Watts in Furmark, so 600W definitely fine. ;-)

Hope this helps, if I can translate anythingelse there for you, just go ahead and ask

EDIT: I know it is about the 270 and not 270X, but its not that big of a difference. ;-)

the power of dual 270X will be close to the R9 290 and just above the R9 280X

and 600 watts will be good for dual 270X

make sure you have 4x 6 pins PCI-E plugs from your PSU

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Gotta say, i love my dual diamond 270x's. Got em overclocked to 1085ghz ea and it in 1080p runs circles around the 290 i've got in my studio rig. I probably shouldn't say circles because i'm not sure ~10% is a circle. How ever considering they cost less than the other gpu and run just a bit faster with OC i'd call it a good deal.

As well, i use a 750W tt psu, (i run 6x 4tb hdds and 6 casefans as well as a phenom 1075t x6.) Not the most power efficient rig, but it gets done everything i need it to :3

Idk if i am going to save my 270x because I got it for 170$ but there is a 280x on sale on newegg for 200 after 15$ rebate. What do you suggest?, I know linus always says get the most powerful single card you can get

if your PSU don't have the plugs

it means your PSU may not support dual graphics.

if you can

try to sell your 270X for some cash and try to get the R9 290 which is way better than the 280x
