Hey Forum ,

Today I overclocked my Asus R9 290X. GPU @1150 Mhz , Videomemory@1500 Mhz.

I used Furmark(1080p preset) to test it and to compare my results and what I got kinda confused me:

Titan doesn't really perform any different than a GTX780 non-ti, which is about equivalent to a 290X, so yes you 'killed' the titan but that isn't surprising at all. Nice OC though, what are your temps?

erstmal grüß dich, looks like you killed it, but in a Benchmark every little Overclock is worth a tiny number that you than compare to other numbers to get a tiny difference :P

The only thing Furmark is good for is sometimes killing graphic cards...  It loads up your gpu in a completely unrealistic way, like no game ever would.  the last time I did a stability test with furmark, I was able to get a much higher overclock than I was able to maintain in any game.

So furmark results, yes its possible.  but it really doesn't mean anything for how it may or may not perform under gaming.

Damn that's nice. Only your CPU is a bit hot, is that Prime95 load?
