School situation

Due to my large amount of absences from school this year because of my anxiety and depression, it looks like I'll be heading off to boarding school soon

I am pretty against the idea and would prefer online/home-school, but it seems thats not something my parents will let me do. I am pretty sure I will be going to an easier boarding school, and not a theraputic one.

So.. is boarding school as bad as I've heard (ik it varies)? Anything I should know? Please humor/comfort me D: it's a pretty big thing in my life atm..

Well here in ph we have a highschool system for the sort of top "Science and Technology" inclined students, there is only 1 campus per region(the equivalent to state in the US), so some who come from different places go to exclusive dorms at the young age of 13, i myself went there and survived, mostly the main factor would be, what culture they have and how you would adapt to it, or how you socialize, my tip also socialize with upperclassmen   . Plus notes and teacher feedback from the upperclass is also a bonus.
