I will be purchasing items as they go on sale (maximum date the week after BF). Any deals I should look for? Not looking to build an extreme price/performance system, but something of quality thats worthy of being sold (which it will be). So quality over speed. Already own the CPU and case. Any thoughts would be great! Going for a slightly red theme, no leds.

You pretty cray boy. Should have gotten the g3258 with an overclocking board. The cpu will hold you back. But you can buy the rosewill capstone 750w psu right now for 60 after rebate. Do it right now while you can because that is a crazyyyyy steal.

I don't think anyone would choose to go with just 4GB of RAM. He probably just can't afford it at the moment. ;)

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

1. Not interested in overclocking, and the client wants to keep costs down. And it was a ridiculous price.

2. Also not in need of super high performance gaming, just over 30FPS gameplay.

3. No need for a 750W overkill PSU where even a 450-500W one would be fine.

4. Don't want to deal with rebates.

4gb more ram would be better

For what uses? With the standard chrome 10 tabs open, steam running, skype call going, and a game running, 4GB should be plenty. I tested this many times and saw no drops in performance. If the client wants to upgrade in the future, I will give the option.

$20 more for a R9 280 seems like it's worth it.

I would want a good branded model (MSI, XFX, ASUS) for increased reliability (since its not mine) and for low noise. I would be more concerned with a CPU bottleneck for the games going to be played and believe it would be more cost effective.

I don't think anyone would choose to go with just 4GB of RAM. He probably just can't afford it at the moment. ;)

Its not really about affording it, its about putting the money into other parts.

Not bad. Just don't expect to play everything at max settings.

Understandable, my first gaming computer was a Pentium II x4 and a 7750, games ran smooth to me :)

Get the G3258 #G358Masterrace

Eh, already purchased the 3220 for half the price. Honestly it's actually not worth spending an extra 50 dollars to overclock in this case.

Why not get the 750w capstone? for 60 dollars it's better than most power supplies that are gold rated and cheaper than most bronze 750w power supplies. The 650w is 65 and I don't remember what the 550w is.

And that rig won't even pull 350w. Closer to 300w You don't know much about power supplies eh? Also it's a better powersupply than you already have listed for the same price. It's a higher end model from the same brand lol but rebates, sure. At least get the capstone 550w.

Link the capstone, I can't seem to find it for less than 70 dollars.

The "older" model seems to be gone, the only 550w capstone is now 70. But a 10 dollar bump isn't much to ask for to move up to gold efficiency.  And about 1/3 the ripple. The voltage quality is just greatly improved.
