Do you "Really" Need to OC it?

And why wouldn't you want to get as much performance out of a graphics card as you can for free. Answer that for me.

Well I was looking for a rough estimate and I still have yet to build my computer so...

It seems that most 980's will do a boost of 1450MHz or so, 1500MHz is a good card, and anything over 1525MHz is a great card. But you will have to put in the leg work to figure yours out.

My Strix 980 (currently) reaches the highest LTT core clock of 1555MHz stable for Valley.

...

What's the rest of your build?  Maybe OC your CPU?

Why not OC both :)
