Must have features?

I am looking at upgrading in the next year or so and am wanting to know what features you could not do without on a MOBO. Plan is X99 when the next CPUs come out for it.

What are you actually going to use it for, then buy something that's not overpriced, crap, features you'll never use, and/or a combination of the three.

I know that, I am buying it because my PC will be running game servers for me and friends while playing. Also I really enjoy finding different ways to bring a computer to its knees. Then there is the fact that a $100 difference total minus RAM is not a big deal to me.

 

What are you actually going to use it for, then buy something that's not overpriced, crap, features you'll never use, and/or a combination of the three.

Currently I have the ASUS P8 Z77-V LK and it does what I need it to but I seem to also see a feature on different boards during videos and think I could use that. Not planning to buy what everyone else has but am looking for features people find really useful.
