I would get a bigger SSD for sure, have a 120GB and its way to small (with games on a HDD).

Ok first off, get 16Gb of RAM.  Next you don't need (i could be wrong) to 970 unless you want to play 100+fps.  Next get more than 1 TB of storage especially for video editing and stuff.  Next 750W would be pushing it, grab a 1KW PSU.

I second this.

Also, you might want to look at the H100i. I was reading some reviews a little while ago and I think it actually performs better than the H105.

Other than that it looks like a nice build. Should be fun!

You're wrong on many levels.

The 970 in SLI is about as low as I'd go for 4k gaming.

750w with the Maxwell GPU's is more than enough. They don't eat much.

i know about the psu 750w is plenty but if he wants upgrades he will want more.  Are you sure about the 970s?

Upgrade to...what, three cards? If so then yeah another might be beneficial. But that's something that should be decided at the beginning of the build.

Chances are if he needs another 970, he's better off getting a more powerful card to begin with. Tri SLI is hardly ever worth it. Especially with an 1150 socket CPU.
