My PC is reasonably quiet and I'm finding the PSU is still the loudest thing in there at the moment. I'm considering doing a soft mount. All my fans are held in by rubber bands so they're soft mounted too, but I'm not too sure on how to do it with a power supply. I'm considering using rubber washers between the case and the PSU, but if there are better (preferably ghetto) options out there, let me know. Also, I'd like to know whether it's worth the effort. My rig is quite cumbersome to move and take apart so i'd like some input on this first.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Here you go it's a rubber isolating gasket between the PSU and case, ideally you also want to get some soft rubber feet to hold up the PSU so it doesn't transfer vibration into the case:

Replacing the fan/psu would be my first option if the psu fan was loud--nothing else would mitigate the noise by much.
