downgrade from win 8 to win 7

yeah i would recommend trying start is back first as well, its like $3 for 2 licences and basically makes windows 8 like windows 7 but with the added benefits of windows 8

Why install that Start Menu that you have to pay for when you can get IObit's version free? http://www.iobit.com/iobitstartmenu8.php

 

I've used it before. Works great, and is pretty much a clone of the W7 Start Menu.

yes all the drivers are installed

If you can figure out the hardware part, go to www.ninite.com and download the installer for Classic Shell. It's as simple as clicking the check box and downloading the one installer. I love that site.

It boots straight to Desktop and basically adds a nice Start Button with menu. 

I only touch my Metro interface for the smexy weather app.

I would say that is an upgrade, but that's me. I used W8 since when it was in pre-beta, build 7901, so i know a few things 'bout it. Windows 7 is for me, until they bring something new to market that is not impossible to use without a touch interface. My 2 cents.

Current daily OC is 4.8 @1.41 v

okay  not to be rude but i dont want a look a like or something that is basically win 7, i need win 7 for my hardware to work, ive talk to alot of other people that had the same problem with win 8 and downgraded to win 7 and it worked

You're also not telling us what hardware isn't working correctly.

why does that matter but it is my 660ti

We're trying to help you, but yes you can use a W7 upgrade disc, but it'll be a fresh install of the OS. All personal things and programs will be removed.
