Title explains the question. So the PC I will be building is originally 877 USD. Then they total up of $105.00 in mail-in rebates. In my mind, that's a lot. I know that in mail-in rebates, you would have to pay the full price and when it comes, you receive the money of the rebate? I heard some people say they don't even get the money back, so I feel it's a sketchy thing to do. Any help?

So it comes with a piece of paper, you then mail the paper to the companies location (it'll tell you where) and they are supposed to send you back the rebate money, that said I would say you probably get about 60 or 70% of rebates back but the rest of them kind of just disappear

You have to send in the rebate form, signed and all, with the correct documentation. And then you'll get the rebate money in the form of prepaid visa/amex cards.  And from the time that you send the rebates, you probably won't see those gift cards for a good 3-4 months.

Yeah that's how long it took for me. I had rebates from Corsair, MSI, and Gigabyte. I would say closer to 3 months rather than 4, though. But I got all of my rebates so I didn't have a problem with them going missing or anything. The time it takes for you to receive the rebate money might depend on where you live, also.

Buy product that comes with a piece of paper for a mail-in rebate.

Fill out little piece of paper.

Send all required information and whatnot back.

Wait a few months.

Get those 20 dollars in cheque/prepaid VISA you waited so long for....

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
