Asus ROG Led Logo MOD

Hey guys, so I'm picking the parts for my first ever PC build (FINALLY!!!) and i was thinking of making it a green themed build. But there aren't that many green components so i will be modding a lot of them (I have experience modding things, I'm a tinkerer).

 

Specifically, the motherboard: Asus maximus VII formula.

 

I'll be painting the "TUF" plate but my only concern is the ROG Red LED logo. -_-' 

Has there been any success changing the color of the logo? Or will I need to paint over it?

Why not precision cut of these light filters and apply it over the led?

Because to make green I would need blue and yellow... Green and red would just make brown...

Can't do it.

It looks like it's a red plastic plate with a white light shining through it.

 

You'd have to remove the red plastic piece and replace it with a green one

Blue and yellow... The ROG LED is Red...

is it not a white LED with a red filter? otherwise, change the LED, its just an SMD
