I am looking to build a computer to play games at 1080p at high settings. I already have a r9 280x that i am going to use. This is my current toughts.

 

Amd fx 6300

Gigabyte ga-970a-ds3p

corsair cx 430m

coolermaster seidon 120v

kingston v300 

crucial ballistix 8gb

seagate barracuda 1tb 

 

please give me your opinins and toughts

Looks good, I think you should go with a 500+w PSU, If the PSU is on the edge it gets inefficient, A PSU is usually the most energy efficient at roughly 50% load.
And 430w is a tight squeeze for the 280x and 6300.

You might want to consider going with a PSU that is at least 500W, 430W is a tight squeeze considering that the 280x draws 250W of power and the fx 6300 draws 95W of power, and once everything else's power is added up it gets close to 430W.
