Once they begin rolling out their new devices, they no longer renew stock for older products.You may have to go to amazon to buy them now. I would suggest getting the oneplus instead. Much better device. 

 

Edit - I think they still have 16gb blacks in the play store

Just wait around a little bit, the Nexus 5 is still being updated and I'm sure Google knows that after the not so stellar Nexus 6 launch and it's natural tendency to alienate people who don't want big phones, they need to have a smaller option.

I don't think the Nexus 6 was ever meant to replace the Nexus 5. It certainly wasn't priced like it was. All of the tech outlets I follow were saying the Nexus 5 was here to stay.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Nexus devices frequently out of stock on Google's website? Just wait a bit and it should be back.

I dont think the oneplus one is a better device. I dont like the design at all

Reviewers are different from what a customer wants and looks for in design of phones, he simply dislikes the looks and finds the nexus to be better

I too find the Nexus to be better just because I hate Oneplus as a company because of what they had done in the past, plus I hate there phones, looks like shit, no removable battery nor sd even though you can take of the back

You forgot that it has a bigger battery, better display, costs less and isn't made of plastic.

Also seeing as your initial reason was it design, which is subjective, i don't see how that can outweigh physical spec?

Even considering that op might not have the same opinion about its design.

The OPO is currently in the spotlight on this forum because of the post about the customer service (which is bad honestly). And now they're just looking for more reasons to bash the device, just because they want to. Somebody even bashed the battery type, even though it's the same as the one in the iPhone 6.

It is a good device, i second that. It's just not in a good light right now.

It is a good device, i second that. It's just not in a good light right now.

I liked the specs on the OPO, I just felt like their marketing strategy was ridiculous, who asks you to film someone breaking their current phone just to get a new one and that's only if you have an invite or something weird like that. 

I like to stick to normal brands that don't require people to do something like that. The ironic part is that I hate APPLE and got so pissed off with the brand that I literally smashed it to bits with a hammer swearing to myself it was the last time I owned anything APPLE.

The phone was a 2nd Gen Iphone, that worked great when it first released but after a few updates their firmware made it obsolete to the point where it took me literally 30 seconds just to get into my Music folder. I could have filmed myself smashing it to bits but it was because of rage that I did it and not because some manufacturer required that I do it just to buy their phone..

I'm all Android now, no Itunes bullshit and I can customized my phone if I want. Also today I went to an APPLE store only to find that there were all the fanboys lined up out in front waiting for the new Iphone 6 and 6 plus. I asked myself "why?", the phone is a turd or at least it will be in 6 months.
