Graphics card advice

Go to solution Solved by Thorium19,

Have a look at the GTX 760, at the moment they've been dropping in price quite significantly, are a bit better in performance than the 270X and are only a bit more expensive. You can probably get one for about €170/180 at the moment, as the equivelant UK price is around £150.

I'm looking for a new Grapics card for gaming i currently have none but i have one in mind.

I want to play games like (payday2, BF3, Titanfall, GTA5) and some other next gen games.

My range is about €100-180.

I was thinking about getting a Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X 2GB OC with boost.

Also getting a new PSU Cooler Master B600.

Please tell me if that is any good.

Current specs:

CPU: i7-4790

RAM: 8192 MB DDR3-SDRAM

OS: Windows 8.1 64bit

PSU: 450 watt

No grapics card.

I'm looking for a card that isn't too long the R9 270x is 35 x 109 x 228 mm i don't have alot of space.

And is the Cooler master B600 too weak for that?

SORRY didn't know about new psu

its a good card. it will work.

I like the 970 over it though.

Get the Radeon r9 280 3gb (Over Clocked or Boost, same thing)  by sapphire if you can. It is on a special in the U.S. for 190$ at the moment and it comes with 3 free games from the Never Settle: Space promotion for free. There are great games like Alien Isolation, Murdered Soul Suspect, Saints Row 4, Sniper Elite 3, Tomb Raider, Hitman Absolution and more. What's your budget? It can play BattleField 3 well on Ultra and get an average of 50-60 Frames.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

R9 270x is 172,90 euro and the GTX 760 is 204,90 I might get the GTX 760 but is 600 watt enough for it or can i lower it to like 550 or 500?

And then you have the R9 280 against it: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/parts/video-card/#c=167
