Arma 3 Low Frames

I get low frames on Arma 3 for some reason when I should be getting much higher, my frames usually get to 10-25ish on low settings when playing multiplayer but when playing on high in singleplayer I get about 50-65 frames on average.

 

My Specs:

 

AMD FX 6300 ~3.5ghz

 

8 GB's of ram

 

GeForce GTX 770 with 4038 MB's of built in video ram

 

Any help will be much appreciated!

Arma 3 Multiplayer is heavy on the CPU, I guess it's your FX6300.

Yeah I know that but my friend has similar specs and gets good frames on high in multiplayer.

What are "similar specs"?

Most likely your cpu. With my r9 280x (the amd equivilant of the 770) + fx8350 combo I get about 49-100 on max.

I also have to mention I get low frames in the DayZ Standalone to

That's because they're not optimized for multithreaded cpus at all.

Also bf4 is that cpu intensive to?

yes its your cpu.

 

i3s perform better in Arma than any FX CPU.

Multiplayer is known for this - I can't get past 25-30 on medium, high or ultra.
