USB Drive suddenly stopped working

I brought my USB drive home from UNI after completing a piece of programming, plug in in and it doesn't show up.  I check the Device manager and disk manager, It is not showing up in Disk manager and in device manager it looks like the attached image.  The device driver is not installing but the computer still recognises it as a "Mass storage device".  I need this for my coursework that is due on Monday HALP PLZ!

Have you tried using another system? If that doesn't work, it could be that the device has corrupted, maybe...

 

Quite possibly you could use recovery software to get your data back.
