First PC Gaming Build Advice

Thanks is the motherboard good and is the graphics good at like 1080p at a reasonable 40 - 60 fps, thanks

Yup, its a good motherboard, and yes the GPU is excellent for 1080p gaming.

Check out some benchmarks.

Also would these cases work?

Antec VSK-4000E

Cooler Master Elite 110

The Cooler Master Elite 110 will not work.  The Antec VSK-4000E will work, but it doesn't have USB3.0, which may or may not be important to do.  If you don't care about USB3.0, we can drop you down to a slightly less expensive but similar motherboard that doesn't have USB3.0.  Is there a really good price on the Antec or something?

Took another look and it looks preety nice but maybe another option might be nice, thanks. Also would I have to pay import tax and things on some off these items, or does it depend on the site?  :D

I'm not sure how it works in the UK.  I'm just using that website, PcPartPicker that searches all the online retailers in the area to find the components.  Anything more specific than that, and I'm unfamiliar.

If you want USB3.0, here is the build I recommend that costs the least amount of money:

PCPartPicker part list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/DQ6xWZ

Price breakdown by merchant: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/DQ6xWZ/by_merchant/

CPU: Intel Core i3-4130 3.4GHz Dual-Core Processor  (£78.79 @ Aria PC)

Motherboard: ASRock H81M-HDS Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (£36.66 @ Ebuyer)

Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport XT 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  (£57.99 @ Amazon UK)

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  (£35.94 @ Aria PC)

Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB TWIN FROZR Video Card  (£140.79 @ Ebuyer)

Case: Thermaltake Versa H22 ATX Mid Tower Case  (£26.87 @ Ebuyer)

If you want to select a different case, you can search through the list of compatible cases, just select USB3.0 on the right hand side.  Might have to scroll down a little to see it.  Make sure it is mATX/Micro ATX motherboard compatible and has room for a 270mm graphics card with the HDD Bay in place.

Thanks and just to confirm what is the better graphics card, the MSI R9 280 or the Sapphire R9 270X 4GB 1020MHz GDDR 5 PCI Express Graphics Card  :D

Also any other recommendations of a combination of a graphics card, cpu and a motherboard would be greatly appreciated. As stated earlier I would still like to be able to easily play games at 1080p between 40 - 60fps thanks, or more if possible. :)
