I really want 2x GTX 780s SC from eVGA but it is always backordered and never in stock. When it is in stock, the local store is so overpriced (Canada) since they are the only ones that have it. This is cruel nVidia :(

Why can't you just let me walk to the store and buy it for the suggested MSRP. Do you think this is done on purpose? Did they not expect the 780 to be so much in demand?

I mean I can find tons of Titans and 770s (different types) all freely available but just these 780s are so hard to come by.

What do you all think?

Same thing happened when the GTX 680 launched, took a few months before the stock was available.

I wouldn't be buying a reference GTX 780 anyway, wait for the Non-reference cards to hit the shelves.

I was googling earlier, and found a site that has when the items were in stock, and when they were out of stock again, some of the increments were literally 20minutes lol

I'm doing SLi so I need reference/blower style designs

I'm doing SLI with the acx cooler, Think it'll have an effect on performance? I have a crap ton of airflow, (haf x) + an air conditioner in my room, and those cards already stay ~70 celsius already

Not a problem here in the UK,

Scan.co.uk - 7/11 GTX780 models in stock

Overclockers.co.uk - 6/12 models in stock

Aria.co.uk - 3/4 Models in stock.

I think it just depends on where you look and if you can't find them that easy you should just pre-order them from a website so they'll ship them to you as soon as they get stock.

They do it to keep the prices over inflated, if people didn't flock and buy them on release the would be $150 cheaper within a month of release

If it gets really hot in there then you can leave the side panel open. To be honest you have nothing to worry about since you have a full tower. I have a mid tower and the top blocked off by a rad so I have some more considerations.

my top is blocked by a rad too, but I only have a 240 in the top, with those fans pulling in fresh air aswell as the 200mm on the sidepanel+ front 230mm, plus I removed some things in the front to allow better airflow, I'll post a buncha threads probably/ a review on them when I get em I think

Yeah let me know how it goes.Someone on overclock.net had a similar setup as me and he had to open up his case to get his temps under control. I don't really mind keeping my case open. If it really comes down to it, I'll just buy a new case and transfer the Carbide 500R to the parents.
