msata and sata raid 0

simson0606

hey guys,

i've got a small question for y'all

is there anything against a raid 0 volume with a similar msata and sata ssd's? (like intel 530, or crucial m550), apart from the lack of redundancy with raid 0.

cheers,

simon

Just depends on which drive is on which controller or if they share a controller.

they'd be on the same intel controller (or did you mean the internal controller of the ssd's?)

I meant SATA controller thus there shouldn't be any issues. SATA and mSATA use the same architecture, just different physical connections.
