The thing that irks me most in life is when someone is fully fledged in the belief that "next gen" consoles have better graphics than PC because there netbook couldn't run minecraft properly

Well, they have that cinematic 30fps stuff going for them. You have to give them that.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

I'm older so here's how I see it:

1) When I was 9-13 years old, the consoles were huge

2) When I was about 17-23 I went into PC gaming and very few people I know had PC games and in fact for the next decade or so I knew exactly guy who had a crappy GPU that could handle games, no enthusiasts

3) When I was 26-30 virtually all people I knew were now gamers, that is console gamers and still knew nobody with a gaming PC

4) Today (I'm 33 for reference) I just had a conversation with my coworkers in a team of about 10: all gamers and of which 7 on console and 2 of them certified PC gamers with Steam accounts and impressive rigs

So in my eyes, PC gaming has been up and down but it's at an all time high within my gaming lifetime which spawns 3 decades.
