I've been looking for a keyboard without a numberpad. I never use a numberpad and it's just a waste of space for me. I also want a keyboard with a red back light. I have been looking at ducky shines but if anyone has any other suggestions let me know! All feedback is appreciated!

I recommend the k65 as well. I bought a K70 not to long ago and I'm in love with it. Yet again I will be a returning corsair customer

I don't know if its a Corsair only issue, but I hate how my k70's spacebar feels and sounds different from the rest of the keys. I'm assuming its the stabilizers, in which case, not just a corsair issue...but bothersome nonetheless.

I'd guess its a issue with the stabilizers.

All the keys with stabilizers are kinda lame, but it's a trend I personally think you should use wire stabilizers and blacks switches for the space bar on red keyboards, but it's fine. Almost every keyboard I tested had that problem.

Why don't they just use another switch instead of the stabilizer/s? I can't image that extra 12 cents would hurt their margins.

Well that wouldn't work. Depending on where you hit the space bar, you be hitting once switch and not the other. A siffer switch usually help, but I just think metal stabilizers make a difference, though a lot hate taking those apart.

I mean, all three switches would be the same switch and could only be actuated if the other two aren't.

I get what you mean, I also felt the spacebar was weird when I started using it (although I'm used to it now). As for your idea of 3 switches, it'd be more complicated than that - they'd have to make it so if multiple of them get actuated only one keypress is registered. On top of that - switches with a tactile bump would be more of a pain since if, for example, your thumb or whatever finger you press the spacebar with was more towards the side than the center, the central switch and the one on the other side of the bar would give more resistance compared to if you press directly down on the them.

I would recommend a Ducky Shine 3 TKL. The Cherry's are nice and solid, it's well built, they make a ton of variations, I can't imagine not finding something that you would like and they seem to be cheaper than the Corsair's. I have a 9008 and I love it. Do you know what kind of Cherry you want?

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!
