H97 mobo suggestions?

Go to solution Solved by PhantomDragon,

IBut have no clue on what are some good motherboards for them. These CPUs cannot be OC obviously so any suggestions for a H97 non-msi mobo would help me out.

Asus H97-PLUS

I'm starting to look more over to intel's side of cpu's for black friday/cybermonday and decided I'd go for a i5 4460/4590 for gaming. But have no clue on what are some good motherboards for them. These CPUs cannot be OC obviously so any suggestions for a H97 non-msi mobo would help me out.

What I need are: ATX or MATX board, 4 ram slots, 4 but preferably 6, SATA 6's, 1 PC/2 port for keyboard, and a usb 3.0 header

My budget is $80-120~

Also do these cpu's that can't be OC need a good heatsink, I was initially going to put a 212 evo on it but now I'm rethinking. Know of any heatsinks <$40 that'll keep these cpu's cool but still say relatively quiet?

I would sooner suggest you look out for a deal on the I5-4690k. If you can get a good deal on the 4690k then the MSI Z97-G55 SLI, ASUS Z97-AR and others are good choices. Basically just stick to the H97/Z97 brands Gigabyte, ASUS, MSI or Asrock and you will be fine.

RIG: I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz | MSI Z97S SLI Plus | 12GB Geil Dragon RAM 1333MHz | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 (1550MHz core/7800MHz memory) @ +18mV(Maxed out at 1650/7800 so far) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, 1TB Seagate Barracuda | Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Closed) | Sound Blaster Z                                                                                                                        Getting: Noctua NH-D15 | Possible 250GB Samsung 850 Evo                                                                                        Need a console killer that actually shits on every console? Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

you can always base clock overclock your cpu :P and intel cpus are fine with the stock cooler. (climate depending)

Thanks I intend to also, but if a good enough deal doesn't arise I will stick with a lower powered cpu. I just don't know of any good H97 boards is why I'm asking
