Is it reasonable change?

My friend offered me a an used lightly over-clocked but now on stock clock on. Intel I5 3570k LGA155 and Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3V motherboard. That i give her exchange a an AMD Athlon X4 750K and MSI A88X-G41 mobo.

 

Really? 3570K CPU on B75 motherboard...? Sure is only "lightly overclocked", since BCLK is the only option there... this combination of CPU and motherboard isn't exactly optimal.

Uhmm yea, it is a massive upgrade.  It just sounds too good to be true.  There has to be a catch.

these cpu's are worlds appart in terms of performance...if everything is working do it.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Yeah my friend doesn't play anymore on computer and he is kind of that guy. Who buys the stuff too quick and don't think what he gonna do with it. Also i have been aware that mobo and i'm gonna change it to some good mITX mobo. That i can do my console killer setup. 

Failure is not an option!
