are you playing games with native android controller support or are you trying to emulate the touch controls in some games?

I've used an xbox 360 controller with an otg adaptor and it worked fine, but i only used it for emulators(which had mapping built in)

I use a PS4 with an OTG cable and it works fine for me, no lag even when streaming from GRID. I use the MOGA Universal driver btw.
