Hey so i built my pc yesterday which consists of z97 sabertooth mark 1 4790k and 980 in sli and i need some help, i build it from scratch and i can boot up installed windows ect downloaded drivers and everything seems to be fine, i have a few problems though,

first off : when powering my pc on i have to turn it on and off again until it my monitor actually recieves a signal. then it pops up saying overclock failed, press f1 to go to setup so i do that and it takes me to the bios and im running all stock settings, and the only way i can actually boot into windows is pressing F8 in the bios (boot menu) and booting from my raid 0 ssds, i dunno if thats a factor or not thouight id mention it anyway. then it boots and runned fine until i turn it off again and i alwyas have to restart my pc like 5 times until it comes up with that {overclock failed} ect i would like ot know how to fix this? i was thinking of returning all defaults in my bios but i was unsure as if that deletes my raid config?

secondly : io have TWO 980s but i ran unigine heaven and i got a score of 1400 with 55.66 fps in 1080p everything extreme ect and i know that that is a score of 1 graphic card, however it did detect my second card. so im gguessing my sli either isnt getting detected properly or somethings wrong, if anyone could help me with this i would be greatly appreiciative

The first issue sounds like a bios bug to me really. Can't think of anythign else

The second issue is easily identified

- Is the SLI bridge properly in place?

- Is your PSU sufficient?

- Is SLI enabled in Nvidia Control Panel?

If the answer is yes to all of these then it's probably a faulty card/SLI finger/bridge

the bridge is properly places yes, or does it have to be in a certain rotation? any ideas how to fix the bios bug? and 750w should be enough for 4790k and dual 980s surely? and ill reboot and check the nvida control panel thanks for the quick reply

No idea how to fix the issue with the bios and 750W should be more than enough

doesnt seem to be there, is there any steps you could recommend?

I would ask someone that has an SLI config or had one before.
