Xeon e3x-1231v3

Basically i7 4790 minus the igpu(which is only slightly useful due to quicksync).

Anyone who does not have a sister hates the fact that Kasugano Sora isn't his sister.
I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...

If you are rendering images, videos, or running game servers while using the host for other tasks. The i7 is for you.

It really depends if the program can utilize 8 threads. Many can't even do 4.

5800X3D - RTX 4070 - 2K @ 165Hz

If I were rendering pictures and video I'd have much more RAM.

Unity and UDK?

Check on google to see how many cores those use. If they use more than 4 then buy a xeon e3 1231v3 (costs the same as the i5)

Do you live near a Microcenter by chance?  If you do, buy your CPU + Motherboard in-store to get an amazing deal. i5 + Z97 = $275.  i7 + Z97 = $355.

Looks liek you lowered the quality and threw in a SSD.

The quality is exactly the same, if not better.
