RMA it ,either the HDD inside of the enclosure or the SATA to USB board is dead.

Hello, today I got an Adata HV610 500GB External USB3 HDD. Plugged it in, and it worked fine. I got excited and tried to copy about 150GB of data to the hdd. After a minute it stopped writing to the disk, so I pressed cancel. Now, windows cannot see the drive in ANY way. including: explorer, disk management, even the BIOS. Please help, I got this drive today and it's already not working! Even the light doesn't light up anymore, but I can feel the vibration, so I know it's spinning. I tried:

1. Reinstall from windows 8 to windows 7

2  Use DISKPART

3. Use disk management

4. Use device manager to find drivers

Thanks for a quick reply, if RMA is my only option, then so be it. No other possible solutions?

well you could try to disassemble it and plug the HDD directly to a pc and see if it works but that could void the warranty
