Why not stream, and then upload the stream to youtube later....

Honestly it depends how you work, do you want a more "off the record" feel to your video, do you want to interact with an audience

Or do you want a more official feeling video, where your voice is what people come for, and can discuss themselves later

Yeah, this is what I plan to do for my own channel

Stream multiplayer gameplay, or games I am just messing around on,

and do a proper voice over and high quality recording to put on youtube for single player/reviews etc

Its hard to get into streaming and have a good viewer base. It takes months to years for some people. Streaming is about YOU more than it is about what you stream/how good of a player you are (unless u are in pro-scene)

Look at kaceytron, she is acting. Her character is a woman gamer purposely showing big portion of her boobs who has low IQ and cant play well. BUT that brings ton of attention and discussion about her. Therefore she is successful. How you see her on stream is not how she is in real-life (PhantomL0rd said that and I believe it because its evil but genius idea)

If u are generaly likeable person with good energy or you are a pro-player in a certain game and not nervous on a camera then u are off to a good start.

With youtube u have days and weeks to work on one video. On stream you can't change things.

Of course you can start on YouTube and see what feedback u get and later do streaming if you have some subscribers.

It's honestly what you feel like doing.

Streaming - Interacting with an audience depending on the size of it.

Recording - Waiting for people to find your channel and watch your videos.
