Chinese hard tubing fittings?

Ate

Alright, there's a local forum member selling chinese fittings, tubing etc.

 http://forums.vr-zone.com/other-hardware-components/3122345-low-cost-hard-tube-fitting-acrylic-tubei-many-new-items-available.html

What do you all think? Fittings are cheaper than soft tubing fittings from big companies, really tempting to start watercooling

Looks like he is more interested in bumping his thread more then anything. I am digging the Tube bender though.

Wow at the bumps...

Personally I wouldn't buy any of this made in china crap, I would rather spend 10x more money and get high quality fittings from bitspower that I am sure will not leak over time.

Is it just me or do half the fittings look like really bad half oxidized non-coated aluminum? The anodized/coated stuff I might consider...not a lot to rave about otherwise.

Soft tubing looks good too.

I would rather have a soft tubing loop that doesnt leak than a hard tubing one that does... :P

It's not that I don't trust Chinese stuff (I'm fairly confident more than 1/2 of all my components were made somewhere in or around China) it's that Aluminum + Copper do not mix in loops, and if those fittings are in fact non-coated/anodized Aluminum you're going to be in for a very, very bad time.

Most high-quality fittings are fully plated brass, Aluminum is avoided like the plague as most blocks and radiators are copper. Reputable manufacturers know better than to mix Cu+Al
