How accurate is this site?

Revel

Ehhh... and it's not very expandable...

There are better ones I am sure people will link to.

Pretty accurate. The one over at more options for things that might be in your system, as well as options for different TDP usage levels, and PSU capasitor aging options, etc. Just more coprehensive. The CM one is pretty good though.

If this is accurate I'm surprised on how low the watts can be for a good system

I prefer using the calculator on the bequiet page...
It seems more accurate to me, because you have to give much more information about your system, for example if you are overclocking!
And if I put my system in this calculator, it says that I need 314 Watts, which is far too little I guess.

Well seems pretty accurate though...
Surprising, that my system needs that little wattage! But I guess lots of space for upgrading then :D

I'm really shocked, I've been overestimating how much power my computer pulls. Thanks.

If you want an accurate readout just go buy a power brick with the wattage from the wall on it.

Better than any speculation.

Most people on this forum really overestimate how much power is needed. With the GTX 980 really you can have a high-end single GPU system for less than 400 watts.
