Blues for gaming?

Go to solution Solved by Archangel1994,

It's still preference. I use browns for gaming and it's awesome and blues are just heavier browns with a more audible click.

Hi,

So Cherry have some pretty cheap keyboards, and the cheapest is the blue switch keyboards. How do blues fare in gaming?

Thanks.

P.S. I play FPS games mostly

I love blue switches for gaming! I had one before my current crap keyboard. I totally was thinking blues music when I read the title! I was ready to tell you about Jack White.

I love it. I have a Razer Blackwidow and it's amazing, but loud. Very easy to press so I never cramp, sometimes it's too easy to press.

I have a Blackwidow tournament that I mostly bought because I wanted Blues for typing (and annoying the hell out of my parents at 1:00 in the moring :P).I was happy to find that they are amazing for gaming (i play fps, rpg, and mmo) and are by far my favorites. I still want to try greens though. MX greens that is not Razers cheap greens.

I can't use any other keyboard because I'd miss the clicking.

My point is that the type of switch be it for gaming or typing is still preference. Blues may be optimized for typing but if you hate the feel on them and love the feel on reds (gaming optimized) then yeah you'll take reds not blues. It's all preference. Don't look at optimizations.

I've tried reds and hated them, too mushy.

Then browns or blues are right up your alley if you do not mind that click.

When I first bought this keyboard (browns) the click was incredibly noticeable and my fingers felt weird after a few hours of working on my pc. Now I'm so used ot them that when I use my brothers keyboard (blacks) it just feels awkward and full of nope
