Hello forum!

I'm planing to build a new PC this summer with a MSI Z87-GD65 motherboard and I've opt for air cooling for it. I have in mind a CM hyper 212 evo for the CPU cooler. But is there any other better air coolers within the same price range of the hyper 212 evo. Or perhaps is there any other recommendations for better air coolers?

The Hyper 212 Evo is one of the best coolers of its price points as far as I know. There may be a few others, but they shouldn't bet that much better.

You can't go wrong with the Evo.

Yeah I really like the temps it's getting under load. It's just just ram clearance I'm worried about. That heatsink is kinda beefy

Yeah I've done searching on the Web and people say it's really reliable for an inexpensive air cooler. But I'm worried it might now handle under heavy load when the cpu starts burning up

I've heard others get a 4.5ghz overclock on the 3570k with the Evo. You should be able to get a decent 4.0+ghz overclock quite easily.
