Which should I choose?

MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB TWIN FROZR   vs   EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Superclocked ACX

Don't plan on overclocking. For casual gaming, and programming. Is this a good building, because I'm trying to stay under $1000.00 dollars.

I would go with the 280 or 290 or even a GTX 970 if you can afford it

Yes Yes Legalize Gay Marriage sure, but have you ever considered Weaponizing Gay?

Here's a build with an R9 290 for under $1000. Better SSD and better case than in the OP's original build.

Much better GPU too.

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.
