The 270 is the best bang for the buck, the 270x is a bit more powerful, but the 760 beats most of the times thse two...

You can overclock the shit out of it. The only difference between the 270 and 270x is clock speed (and power delivery to reach that clock speed), so you can just OC the shit out of the 270 and get similar performance as that of a 270x. Also, while cheap, Powercolor still makes good cooling solutions, so the card is still good. It's a great buy. IMO I wouldn't think spending more than this until you hit the $240 price range and can afford an R9 290.
