The easy fix would be to have forum based giveaways where only forums members could win. Within a certain join date or post count of course. 

 

Who's ready for a giveaway announcement? 

 

I believe they had one recently? Were the winner was based on who they believed was a great example of a valued member... or something along those lines

Epic fail MINA_ADEL but hey we all have our moments but this one cost you quite a big prize so ..... :S

This reminded me of this epic fail by Steve Smith.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

like i mentioned before and like lonerangers said not every one have time to be active on the forum , i just watch the videos ,, i have other things to do you know..

I understand that some people just don't want to be on a forum all the time, but that also means they deserve less of a chance of winning.

Just like I don't like facebook, thus I won't create an account just to win a prize.

 

Stick to your opinion, if you weren't going to contribute, don't do it just to win something.

 

Just my thoughts.

Way to go guys. Not only have you probably deterred a potential new member from ever wanting to visit this forum again, but done the same to any people who aren't members and may have thought of joining...

 

I thought this was supposed to be a welcoming community. Guess I was wrong.

 

It sucks that you missed the giveaway @MINA_ADEL, but that's just how things happen sometimes. You'll just have to make sure you're paying extra close attention next time you enter a competition.

The next time you forget your homework, tell the teacher that u had to check ur email because u dont want to miss the giveaway like you did this time. Hope he/she understands.

Hell I was really happy that the other guy won it. As an active member who gave to the community, I was happy to see him rewarded for that. BUT that doesn't mean you didn't deserve it. Anyone who wants to game as part of the PC master race but can't afford a good PC at the moment deserves it. 

That must really suck knowing you missed that. I'd be kicking myself in the head for a year at least.

I can understand how you miss it. You enter just because, and you don't expect to win, and it's not on your mind, and if you are not active you will miss it. 

muh specs 

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch
