Modem/Router dropping out

Hey guys,

I've recently purchased a new modem/router and i'm having random ~5min dropouts. The uptime ranges from 10min to multiple hours (usually around 40min).

New Router: Asus DSL-N55U

Old: Netgear DG834G

Between dropouts the modem works perfectly and apart from the disconnections and re-connections nothing is reported in the adsl log. I'm currently using the old modem so i don't have the actual logs on me, soz.

I'd really appreciate some ideas because I've toggled all the settings trying to find out what the problem is, still have no idea.

It's running the latest firmware and i actually RMA'd it got a brand new one and hasn't changed it so probably not falty.

At this point i'm planning to change it for a netgear N750 or something. As the old modem never drops out. It's insanely frustrating when you get kicked halfway through games, thanks in advance...

Are all your ADSL settings correct?

The answer is 42.
Oh, wait, you mean to tell me you need to know the question now?
Well, I can't answer that.
