Looking for work Tablet suggestions?

So my work is looking for a tablet for one of it's stations and I'm not sure on the market so I'm wondering if the lovely people here have any suggestions.

 

Requirements:

 

-Must be value oriented(meaning not too expensive but also not the cheapest it needs to have reliable hardware)

-Must be Android

-Must have an available "tough" case that can also be purchased(lockable preferred but not required)

 

Storage size doesn't matter but would be nice if it had an SD slot

Brand doesn't matter

 

If anything else is needed for use let me know and thanks.

Not many Android tablets have this, mostly the popular/mainstream ones will have widely available rugged cases. Some that come to mind would be the Nexus 7 and Galaxy Tab 3/4

Google Nexus 7 still a better option. If you love Stock Android experience, go for it.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4" also a good option.

Both Tablets have good Tough cases available in Amazon, eBay.

No budget but this is for a company so when questions arise about why we spent let's say $800 on a tablet we have to be able to explain why we spent that $800.

Google Nexus 7 still a better option. If you love Stock Android experience, go for it.

Thanks for the suggestions. It's not for me its going to be company property main thing is that it has to have a durable case available as it has a high probability of being dropped from about waist height.

The shield tablet and nexus 7 are your best bets or for a tighter budget a tab 4 7"
