and im here struggling to run minecraft with no lag...

Minecraft is the most poorly optimized game ever and weird in some aspects. It thrives more on inferior hardware than top-of-the-line hardware. I saw someone get 40fps with an OC'd 4790k and GTX 780 Ti/16GB of RAM whereas an I3 4130 with GTX 660Ti got 300 fps or so.

RIG: I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz | MSI Z97S SLI Plus | 12GB Geil Dragon RAM 1333MHz | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 (1550MHz core/7800MHz memory) @ +18mV(Maxed out at 1650/7800 so far) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, 1TB Seagate Barracuda | Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Closed) | Sound Blaster Z                                                                                                                        Getting: Noctua NH-D15 | Possible 250GB Samsung 850 Evo                                                                                        Need a console killer that actually shits on every console? Well maybe microsoft will help at that;)

whats actually funny is that a i7 4770k will run minecraft maxed out even running off of the IGPU on the cpu..... so like on-board graphics are fine xD

also minecraft only uses 2 cores if its running on 8 chunks render or lower. over that it will use 4 cores max. minecraft needs FAST cores. like a 8GHz dual core would like max it out at like 1200 fps

i cant even get 30fps with my xeon 1230v3 and gtx670 but that might also be the fact that im running srv2012
