Hey guys! Been following LinusTechTips for some time and now I'm here to ask some advice regarding my old CPU. Currently I'm using an i5-760 which I bought it few years back and recently I've also upgraded my gpu to a 750ti. So I'm wondering, is it worth it to upgrade my CPU and board, and if I must, which CPU should I be upgrading to? Main usage of the rig would probably be for gaming, nothing too intensive I hope, maybe some multi-tasking stuff every now and then. Appreciate the help and thanks in advance! :)

Iterative CPU upgrades aren't exactly that big of a deal performance wise (except for DDR2 - DDR3 support, DDR3 - DDR4 support).

You'd benefit more from a better GPU, or waiting for skylake i5-5xxx processors.

Ah, so a cpu upgrade wouldn't make an improvement that is worth it? The reason why I didn't get a high end card is because the games I play wasn't really graphic intensive just some MMO and Dota 2. But lets say if I were to get a gpu upgrade, which one should I be going for?
