I've had a look at the Enthoo Pro and Luxe yesterday and while I really like the flexibility that Phanteks cases offer, I was a bit sad that there is only 65mm between the motherboard and the top of the case. So effectively max. 40mm rads. Are there any cases sub $150 that allow for a 60mm rad in the top and front?

Thanks guys!

NZXT H440, i dont know how thick they can be but they can be very thick from what i have seen and read, you can put a 360 in the top and another one in the front

I'm eager to see what kind of clearances the Phanteks Mini XL allows for, their video seems to show a hell of a lot of options.

thick in the front yes. Slim in the top. Also dual 360mm rads don't work correctly as the top rad would be blocked by the front one. 360mm thick in the front 240mm thin in the top.

i guess so, in that case have it a 280mm in the top as it has 140mm fan spots

thickness =/= rad size. I could put a 420 and a 360 in the Luxe, but the top can't be very thick. The 360 could be 80mm tho

Dude. I know quite a bit about watercooling. I was responding to the H440 recommendation. Not to the rest of the thread.

Chill! it was more of a general comment not specifically targeted at you ;)

Bothered me that the discussion drifted towards supported sizes rather than thickness.

I'd suggest checking out the Arc Midi R2 if you haven't already. You can fit some very thick rads if you remove the 5.25" bays.

Just checked it out. Looks like a great case, but I am 90% sure I want an ATX form factor. Guess I might have to cash out a bit more for something like a Primo, or maybe I am just over-valuing thick rads. On overclocked.net I recently saw a discussion about it, with the results being that a thick rad will have 15% better performance at high speeds.

The Arc Midi R2 is an atx mid tower.. Were you looking at the Arc Mini R2 instead?

yeah :D

pretty ugly case imo, but thanks for the suggestion. The wider top is a great idea.
