Holding off until the 960 arrives would be best, I know its been delayed due to high circulation of the 970/980 and they havn't bothered releasing the 960 yet, but when it does, it will be the TITS compared to the 760!

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

An example of a pretty good deal is the R9 290s for $259.99 CAN at NCIX.  That is if you don't give a damn about PhysX and playing certain games the way they were meant to be played.

You could also recoup more money by selling the games that come with it.

Eh but with only $650 .....

$73 - 100 cpu
$79 - 100 mobo
$59 -  79 psu
$59 - 100 data drive

$80 ram
$20 - 59 case
$100+ monitor
$30 - 60 cheap kb and mouse combo

$500+ to $678 without the R9 290

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Eh but with only $650 for the whole build tough to fit that card into your build.

Yeah. I will look into that R9 but yeah $650 for a build is really not a very great budget but I don't have alot of options. And it is US currency

If you can buy some stuff used that always helps.  Do you know any reliable people to buy from in your area?  Have you looked at Ebay sellers that are reputable?  Do you have a pc parts recycling store near you? Also do you have anything already for your pc experience?  Like if you already have a tv with HDMI that could save you some money for now as you could temporarily use it as a monitor.

Holding off until the 860 arrives would be best, I know its been delayed due to high circulation of the 970/980 and they havn't bothered releasing the 860 yet, but when it does, it will be the TITS compared to the 760!

It's going to be the 960. Not the 860.

If moneys a real concern, grab a 7870 named card on ebay, (270x itself is a bios-swapped rebranded 7870)

$70-120+Postage - I see heaps of these, and other cards, all going super cheap, even BEFORE the 970/980/ATI price wars were happening.

^Some with warranty leftover too.

*If you don't like buying used stuff, don't bother replying, I get that already, this if for THOSE that don't mind.

It's going to be the 960. Not the 860.

Typo, thanks.*Fixed
