hyper 212 evo wont go down

I have it sitting my my amd fx 8350, the bractet the screws it down is sitting in the middle hole but all the screws on the side a are slighly above where i screw them in. When i tighen one side just a little, the other side wont even reach. Do i force it down or am i doing something wrong

Make sure you are tightening the screws in a crosswise pattern, and maybe just wiggle it a little. I remember having some trouble getting my hyper 212 + on, but it eventually worked just fine.

Never had such  a problem with mine. Maybe just need to jiggle it around to get in place

Took me ages to get mine in place, just had to take it off then keep trying to get it right.

ok got it. You have to apply alot of pressure on bracket and the screw at the same time.
