Well if you have a decent APU, then just getting a really nice video card can be all the difference you would want.

So I agree with the other guys.  Full list of specs or we cant help.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Yes it does because it tells us whether or not you'd be wasting money or should spend it on something else.

He doesn't need a completely new build, he just wants to upgrade his PC. Also, this PC is horrible for the money, I'm sorry but... Gotta say the truth.

prove it, make a better pc for $400. Also google the cpu, overclocking it would not even bottleneck a 980, its a awesome cpu

I would keep the motherboard, grab a A10-7700k and a R9-270.  That fits your budget and is going to get you your best bang for your buck.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Yea, I would get another.  But you can get a nice 450 watt one for <$40.  Well, grab another mobo too.  But I probably wouldn't.  What do you need another PCIE card for?

Grab that board, with a A10-7700k, and a PSU of your choice.  This will be around $300.  Take the $100 you got left, save up about $30 more, then get a dedicated video card to go with it.

Everything on Amazon is $435

It's not an awesome CPU, buying it to run a 980 is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. It's for ultra-low-budget builds, not for real monsters of machines.

And you have literally just dug a pit for yourself there, because you have challenged someone and therefore me to a budget build...

Let's see what we can come up with here...

FX-4130 - $80

Fractal Design Core 1000 - $25

ASRock 960GC-GS - $50

Radeon 7770 GHz Edition - $100

GSkill Value 8GB DDR3 1333MHz - $70

Crucial MX100 - 128GB - $75

Cannibalize HDD from older computer (everyone has one) - FREE.

Corsair CX 430 - $45

Total: $445

HOWEVER!

used 7770  -$40-50

Downgrade to 4GB RAM  -$35

get rid of the SSD -$75

Best case scenario, you  can whittle that thing down to about $300.
