Then ditch the 4790k and the 970, and get a 4690k and a 980. You won't get any performance gain in gaming with an i7 over an i5. You will however gain a significant amount of performance with the 980 over the 970, so use your money to go that route instead.

Hi guys sorry for posting alot this is my finalized rig. Is it good? What are some of your opinions?

CPU: Intel 4790k

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7

Video card: Asus gtx 970 dc ll strix 4gb ddr5

Casing: fractal design define r4

Power supply: corsair cx 600 mod

cpu cooler: c.master hyper tx3 cooler

ram: corsair vengeance pro 1866mhz 8gb

storage: Wd caviar blue 1tb, Corsair force ls 120gb ssd

extra 4 fans for the case

I didn't read any of your previous posts, but is this supposed to be for gaming or are you gonna do some video editing with your rig as well?

Reference cooler/pcb/ vs custom cooler/pcb. Custom card will run cooler, quieter, faster for longer. Basically, everything gets a premium upgrade. For more info, check out this video by Jayztwocents. It should help clear up a lot of things for you.
