Where to start

Go to solution Solved by Syntaxvgm,

Ok thx man  B)

I would look into getting experience with game development first. Maybe start with making mods for other games, then maps, then maybe a simple game...like an FPS...not shitting those are really simple to make, minimal character modeling. Before setting up a large goal like this, get some good experience so when you finally decide to make something, you will  know what will be required, and how capable you are of doing it, and most importantly, how long it will take you.

Do you guy think it would be possible to make a game the simulates Ski resort creation/maintenance of the slopes/runs. I have played Ski Region but it just does not simulate the physics of the snow. I am A noob so I am just looking for a good place to start. A example of what I want to do is simulate this. B)

Smells like some more advanced features such as dynamic model deformation and proper physics.

Get into proper programming/games development first, then specialize your projects towards your dream :)

But it's never bad to keep researching the area. Look up different engines, how you could execute the idea, stack a metric butt ton of notes,

and spend the next decade developing a game that'll get pushed down the list by old re-releases on steam within 24 hours :D
