What GPU?

Go to solution Solved by Toddwjp,

2 gtx 980s, (the 3gb vram of the 780 ti will now be a limiting factor more often). 980s overclock better use less power and are newer (means more support and more updates, and likely small performance games over the next 2 years) and importantly have that fancy new memory compression tech, which is helpful when running higher res' at high fps

I want to get two new nvidia graphics cards, adding a third one later one. I am running three Dell U2414H monitors and I want to run games on maximum settings at 60fps or higher. I also do a lot of work in Adobe applications like Premiere Pro and After Effects so I need the CUDA. I have settled on two GTX 780ti, but do you recommend anything better?

2 x GTX 980

A little worse in adobe (less CUDA cores) but better in games AND it is very power efficient and quiet.

2 gtx 980s,

I've thought about it, could you guys give me the reason why I should switch to it and why they are better? Just want know because they are $300 more.

edited my first post, and with 2 gtx 980s you might not need to get a third if you overclock them a bit
