Run anit virus scan, sounds like adware. Not too sure what you would use to remove that but removing tool bars can be done by using CCleaner (afaik)

Theres nothing they cn do your the one who has managed to get these by not checking the install list of programs and such, book it in to a health check at your local computer store

Re-install windows, this time have a decent security suite after you have installed the updates and don't go on dodgy sites.

Adware plus & malwarebytes sweep should do the tricks, make sure you scan for pottential unwanted programms, (pup enabled) when scanning..
