Dual monitors

Go to solution Solved by bchampion96,

Hey guys I just finished my build and I wanted a second monitor so I plugged it in and it displayed my background but I cant do anything else with it. So my question to you guys is how do I moved stuff onto it? I mainly want guides, livestreams and skype on it.

Cheers :D

Check the arrangement in control panel. A lot of the time when you set them up, they are arranged the wrong way. I have my second screen on the left, and in control panel it thinks it's on the right, so I move my mouse to the left of the screen and I can't get my mouse onto it :P Hopefully that makes sense. Go into displays on control panel and fiddle. I'm sure you'll get it

Just drag a window/shortcut to it

Check in monitor settings in windows where windows thinks the second monitor is (Left, above or right)

But my mouse doesn't even go onto the other screen

Check the order of your monitors, it might be set to the left hand site instead, try moving the mouse in that direction

also I would look into a program like Display Fusion, or Multimon or something, means you can have a lot more functionality on the second screen

(although not necessary with windows 8)
