Questions about my setup

teamtim

Hello,

I have this configuration :

Motherboard : GA-Z97X-Gaming 3
Processor : Intel Core i5-4690K (3.5 GHz)
RAM : 2*8GB DDR3 PC1600 Markenspeicher G.Skill Ripjaws
Ventirad : Arctic Freezer 13 CO
PSU : LDLC QS-650+ Quality Select 80PLUS Gold
Case : NZXT Source 210 Elite (noir)

I need to buy two fans for the intake the air in the front.

I found this model : Be Quiet ! Shadow Wings SW1 120mm PWM

The airflow will be this one : http://gyazo.com/9f77fab3e126b3fb1cba30cdebea4f8d

The case have a left "door" fan place, should I install a fan to extract the air ?

What is your mind of my choice ?

PSU should be turned the other way (if there is a fust filter). Hot air from the PSU would increase the temp of CPU.

Unless you're planning on opening the PSU and flipping the fan, the air will go the other way. CPU cooler fan should push through the heatsink towards an exhaust fan. Generally rear is best, though if you aren't using a GPU top works too.

Thanks for these answers, I'll change the orientation of the PSU.

My case is only 0.06ft up the ground, so I'll add wood to help the PSU.

The intake fan : Be Quiet ! Shadow Wings SW1 120mm PWM, is it a good one, or do you use another model ?

Regards

Be Quiet makes good fans, not the highest airflow, but for non-gaming rigs it's quite enough. Plus it's really quiet. There is a new generation though, the Silent Wings 2. Not a big difference though from what I can tell.
