which cpu should i get?

Im getting a maximus vii formula and was thinking of getting the i7-4790k but was wondering if i shouldget something different or just stay with this?

 

Im planning on gaming video editing and streaming. also maybe overclock in the future.

I would suggest if you do lots of editing and streaming you get a 5820k with a lga 2011-3 mobo as the extra 2 cores will give you good boost in performance. Also don't get high end mobo's unless you need a feature or are doing record setting OCing.

I think it's a great CPU. If you have the budget, a 5820k will do you good, but the 4790k will do you just fine as well.

The motherboard isn't the most cost-effective choice, and for video editing I think taking the money you save by downgrading the motherboard to an MSI gaming or Gigabyte gaming one or something and putting the money in a better GPU (980?) will be a better idea.
